“Tokyo Human Resources Fund for City Diplomacy” International Student Special Selection 2018

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government established the “Tokyo Human Resources Fund for City Diplomacy” in 2015 to seamlessly implement programs for fostering human resources that are essential to promote intercity cooperation, for approximately next ten years.
Accordingly, under the “Tokyo Human Resources Fund for City Diplomacy” Scholarship Program, the Graduate School of Human Health Sciences at Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU) run by the public university corporation founded by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, is accepting excellent international students to study at TMU for the academic year 2018. This program provides financial support including tuition exemption, stipend and others, for students who pass our special selective examination in order to concentrate on their study and research.

When applying, you must submit the required documentation specified by the Graduate School of Human Health Sciences in advance and receive permission to apply from the graduate school. Before submitting the formal application, please make an inquiry with the graduate school and the prospective supervisor.

(1) Application Period
By post: Sunday, April 1, 2018 -Tuesday, April 24, 2018
(Applications must arrive no later than April 24, 2018)
Hand-delivery: Sunday, April 1, 2018 -Tuesday, April 24, 2018
(10:00~12:00, 14:00~17:00)

 In addition to (3) Materials for Submission, applicants for Department of Nursing Sciences must submit the following.

  (1) Certificate of JLPT (Japanese Language proficiency Test) N1 level
  (2) TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) iBT score of 80 or higher, or TOEFL PBT score of 550 or higher
  (3) Copy of valid any of following license issued by your home country
・Health nursing license
・Midwifery license
・Nursing license

  (1) Full text of master’s thesis. In case the thesis is not written in English or Japanese, an English or Japanese translation of the abstract must be attached to it.
  (2) TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) iBT score of 80 or higher, or TOEFL PBT score of 550 or higher
