Graduate school of Tokyo Metropolitan University to accept Asian students through the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Asian Human Resources Fund 

<About the "Asian Human Resources Fund" International Student Special Selection>

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) has established the "Asian Human Resources Fund" at the prospect of over the next ten years in order to implement policies aiming at fostering excellent human resources contributing to the development of Asia in the future.  

Under the "Asian Human Resources Fund" program, the Graduate School of Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU), which is run by the public university corporation founded by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, is recruiting excellent Asian students to study at TMU. This program provides financial supports including housing, scholarship stipend, tuition exemption, etc. for enabling matriculated students who passed the special selective examination to devote their full effort to studying and research.

1 Number of students to be accepted in 2010
One student in doctoral course (accepting applicants for research areas related to advanced studies on human health scienses)

2 Period of study
Students will in principle be enrolled from October 2010 until they earn their doctorate degrees (scholarships and other support will be provided for a maximum of three years, until September 2013).

3　Application Method and Period

When applying, you must submit the documentation specified by the Graduate School of Human Health Sciences in advance and receive permission to apply by the school.  Before submitting a formal application, please make an enquiry with the school through your preferred supervisor.

(1) Application Period

By post:         May 10 (Mon), 2010 - May 14 (Fri), 2010 (must arrive no later than May 14)

　 Hand-delivery: May 10 (Mon), 2010 - May 14 (Fri), 2010  10:00～12:00  14:00～16:00
